Curb Appeal
Start with the exterior of your house, also called your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your house from the view of a passerby. What do you notice first? What great characteristics seem waiting to be noticed? Acknowledging this helps us to decide what measures we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with refreshed paint and blooming greenery we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer see themselves lounging in your living area, relaxing in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of contentment. I'll help you do this by recommending changes that highlight the features of your home. I'll help you put out of sight anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Tabletops should be clutter-free. Kitschy sculptures, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get stored away too. We need to give mass appeal to the place so buyers can perceive it as their new place.
I know exactly where a room's best features are and how to highlight them. Changes that directly affect your bottom line include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should be rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need cleaning.
Potential buyers want to see a property that charms them. Anything that could be unsightly should be removed in order for your property to garner mass appeal at every showing.

Setting the Stage At every showing, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Shadows are important and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to show off your house. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and ensure a nice fragrance circulates throughout your home. We'll make use of cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your couch and bed. We want buyers to feel like your house is their future home. |
